A WEB DESIGNER

Currently, I am the Graduate Assistant for the Department of Creative Technologies at CU Denver. I consult the departments under the Division of Student Affairs towards best practices in web development and web management. My job as a consultant is to ensure that the web content being built under the University of Colorado Denver meet common web practices and represents our university in a proper manner.

More About Me

I believe in diversity and opportunity for all students. I have spent my undergraduate experience in several student organizations volunteering for the community and have served as a mentor to many different students. My passion has been assisting students with success in their college career by having conversations and connecting them with university resources.

Work Experience

I have worked for the University of Colorado Denver for five years as a Web Designer, Peer Health Educator, Student Program Coordinator, and Student Advocate. My background has mainly consisted of web development, web management, and student development.

Education

I am a recent gradute from the University of Colorado Denver with a major in Communications, minor in Psychology, and certification in Public Relations. I am currently in my Masters Program for Information Learning and Technologies with an emphasis in eLearning Design and Implementation.
